This past week has been a little challenging when it comes to working out. I have this issue that if I'm not good at it, or feel retarded doing it... I don't stick with it. Yoga is so hard to do at 4:30 in the morning when you're tired and just want to go back to sleep. So I have slipped and been doing it later, but I really need to start doing it early in the morning again. So my goal this week is to do it for at least five mornings.
Another challenge for me has been the Krispy Kreme that just opened down the street from my house. I LOVE DONUTS. and I love Krispy Kreme donuts. I am ashamed to say that I gave in yesterday and had two, but I think since I had my taste for it, I can let it go. I actually felt sick after eating them. My body is just not used to that anymore, haha!
Tonight is my weekly meeting with Kristi. I'm excited since I couldn't go last week. I'm really anxious to get back on that Wii Fit! Hahaha!!! Having a friend do this with me makes it so much easier. I have something to be accountable for. Now it's like if I don't do what I'm supposed to, I'm not only letting myself down, I'm letting her down too. Talk about pressure!

Week One
This past week has been going pretty well so far. I didn't get to meet with Kristi this week due to vehicular difficulties, but I've been keeping on track (for the most part.) I've been waking up at 4:30am to do yoga, and trying to fit in afternoon walks. I might be getting a Wii from my friend Paul who hasn't used his in a year. If I get it, I'll save my money to get a Wii fit of my own! =] I haven't drank soda in over a week which makes me feel proud of myself! The dress is still hanging up serving as a daily reminder to me of why I'm doing this.

It's A Good Day to Start Again
Ok, so as I've been saying in my other blog, I'm determined to lose about 50-60lbs. I'm kinda excited today because last week when I weighed myself I was 210 lbs, but when I weighed myself today, I was 200 lbs, hahaha. So I'm making that my starting weight. I guess on here, I'm basically just going to document my efforts and my weight loss. Every week, I'll weigh myself and see how much progress I've had. I'm teaming up with Kristi to do this, so I don't have to do it alone. We're going to be meeting every Wednesday night to workout/discuss. It should be an incredible (and hard) journey. =]
